August 13, 2009 - For the second year in a row, McCoy & Sparks has been named Best of Nelson County by The Kentucky Standard readers.

“It’s a real honor,” said Keith Sparks, who with his wife Michelle Sparks and longtime friend Chad McCoy is a partner at the firm. “We love Bardstown, and we’re proud to be recognized as contributors to the community.”

McCoy & Sparks focuses on personal injuries, insurance disputes, and criminal defense, but they also take clients for divorce, real estate, will and probate, business formation, and social security disability. Their attorneys have won cases all across the nation, including a recent case that resulted in one of the largest insurance bad faith settlements in Kentucky history.

Chad McCoy said, “There’s a myth that you have to go to a big city to find the best attorneys, but it’s not always true. We cut our teeth at the bigger firms, then brought our services to Bardstown because there’s no place we’d rather live—no people we’d rather work with.
