The KJA is a statewide organization of attorneys dedicated to protecting citizens’ right to have their cases decided by juries, rather than corporate or special interest groups.  It is one of the state’s largest and most influential legal organizations. Keith Sparks, a founding partner of the Bardstown law firm McCoy & Sparks, is on the KJA Board of Governors, having been selected through a statewide election involving all KJA members.

The Kentucky Justice Association was founded in 1954 and over the years has grown into an important, statewide voice for consumers. The KJA’s more than 1,400 members are committed to improving the quality of legal representation for Kentucky families by providing superior legal education and by keeping abreast of legislative and judicial proceedings. They help to educate citizens about their legal rights through its Speakers Bureau and other informative programs, publications and community service projects.
